Indus Climate Watch was founded to bring real-time weather intelligence to the Indus River Basin. Home to over 200 million people across Pakistan, the basin faces growing threats from glacial melt, erratic monsoons, and extreme weather events. We report live conditions, deliver forecasts, and track climate signals — making weather data accessible to everyone who depends on the river.
Our Story
What began as a network of weather stations along the Indus has grown into a comprehensive weather reporting platform. Our team of meteorologists, data scientists, and field observers recognized that weather information for the Indus Basin was fragmented and often inaccessible to those who needed it most. We built Indus Climate Watch to be the single source for real-time weather across the basin — live conditions from Skardu to the Arabian Sea, forecasts that matter, and alerts that save lives.
